Haim Saban set to buy cellular carrier Partner

The sale of cellular carrier Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) to Haim Saban is set to be signed either later today or tomorrow. The deal for the Orange franchisee will be completed before Scailex Corporation (TASE: SCIX; Pink Sheets:SCIXF) through which controlling shareholder Ilan Ben-Dov controls Partner, publishes its financial report for the third quarter of 2012.

At midnight on Friday, Scailex Corporation (TASE: SCIX; Pink Sheets:SCIXF) announced that final agreement had been reached for the transfer of control of Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) to Haim Saban, after the Scailex board approved the deal.
