Rami Levy Chain Stores Hashikma Marketing 2006 Ltd. (TASE:RMLI) today launched a smartphone repair laboratory network in collaboration with Pal Group unit Celandon Laboratories (2000) Ltd. Rami Levy operates mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Rami Levy Communications and opened a chain for the sale of smartphones.

The smartphone repair chain is due to have 18 branches by mid-January. Rami Levy currently has branches in Jerusalem, Netanya, Ramat Gan, Pardess Hanna, Modiin, Shilat, and Ashdod, and will open outlets in Nesher, Kiryat Haim, Beersheva, Kastina Junction, and Tiberias in December.

To mark the launch of the laboratories, Rami Levy is offering to repair iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s screens for NIS 120. It is also offering insurance policies for smartphones: a customer who buys a smartphone at Rami Levy Cellular is offered a two-year insurance policy for NIS 300. The policyholder’s share of a repair is NIS 120-150, depending on the device.

Rami Levy is also offering smartphone insurance policies for buyers of smartphone from other vendors. The policy costs NIS 480 for two years, and a customer receives NIS 160 in coupons for use at Rami Levy Chain Stores.
