The transfer of Cellcom’s control permit is a condition for
the IDB debt settlement.
The Israel Security Agency has cleared IDB Holding Corp. Ltd.(TASE:IDBH) co-controlling shareholder Moti Ben-Moshe, and the Ministry of Communications has therefore sent Cellcom Israel Ltd.(NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL) a draft for the transfer of the company control permit to IDB’s new controlling shareholders.
The transfer of Cellcom’s control permit to Ben-Moshe’s Extra Holding GmbH and Eduardo Elsztain’s Dolphin Fund Ltd. is a condition for carrying out the debt settlement in IDB.
