Orange franchisee Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) affiliate O12 Smile today announced a NIS 39 monthly plan with unlimited calls and SMS, two megabyte of Internet access, and 500 minutes of calls to the US and Canada. The plan for new and current customers is for six months, after which the price will rise to NIS 94 per month.

Golan Telecom Ltd. sparked the latest round in the mobile carriers’ rivalry, when it offered a NIS 35 monthly plan through December 25, when the price will rise to NIS 99 per month. That plan offers unlimited calls and SMS, and one megabyte of Internet access.

Mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Rami Levy Communications Ltd. responded with a NIS 34.90 monthly plan through January 2015, when the price will rise to NIS 89.90 per month. It offers unlimited calls and SMS and one megabyte of Internet access to subscribers who sign on by the end of April.
