Pelephone Employees Protest Outside CEO’s Home

Dozens of employees of the Pelephone company and their children held a “Kabbalat Shabbat” outside the home of the company’s CEO, Gil Sharon, on Friday afternoon. The employees held up signs reading: “Gil Sharon – we do not sleep at night – you won’t sleep in the afternoon”, “There is no one to talk to at Pelephone”, and Gil – why won’t you talk to us?”

Pelephone employees have been on strike this week over their attempts to join the Histadrut labor union. The company’s management has been trying to block the move, leading to the strike.
