Labor Chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich congratulated the Labor Court for ruling in favor of Pelephone workers and allowing them to organize. Yachimovich wrote on her Facebook page, “This is an amazing decision by the Courthouse in regards to the organization of Pelephone employees – it prohibits employer interference in the process of association of workers . This is a bold and historic decision.”

Yachimovich added that it is especially important to fight for the benefit of the country’s workers, particularly their right to form labor unions.
