Partner and Pelephone selling Blackberry Z10 for over NIS 3,000
However, on the Zap price comparison site it is possible to find the smartphone being sold in Israel for less than NIS 3,000.
Mobile phone operators Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) and Pelephone Communications Ltd. today announced the launch of sales of Blackberry’s Z10 flagship smartphone. The Canadian’s company’s new Z10 smartphone and operating system has a touchscreen in contrast to Blackberry’s previous phones.
The good news for Israeli customers is that both Partner and Pelephone won’t charge extra for using the phone as part of using the operators’ service package. In the past this cost NIS 20 or NIS 30 monthly.
The not so good news is that the Blackberry Z10 is not particularly cheap. Partner will sell it for NIS 3,170 including a 16 Giga memory card at no extra cost. Pelephone will sell the Blackberry Z10 for NIS 3,030. However, on the Zap price comparison site it is possible to find the smartphone for a little less than NIS 3,000.
The Z10 has been available in many countries worldwide since the end of January. The smartphone includes 4G LTE support, a 4.2 inch screen, and 16 Giga memory including the option of enlarging the memory card, a double core 1.5 Giga speed processor and camera with 8 mega pixel sensor.
